We got up this morning and went for a walk. After my fall yesterday, I was a little reluctant to run the same roads. On the walk, I saw a nice little bird on the beach area.

We head up to Secret Beach for our last day. It was a nice day and the weather was again on the perfect side. We camped out at Matura where we had gone on Tuesday. By coincidence, we ran into a British family that we had met before our first snorkeling trip. They were not on the same snorkeling boat but I had a very nice conversation with them. He was a doctor who worked with Exxon and they live in the Woodlands in Houston. They were here for a long weekend with their son who is about to return to the UK to go to university. It amused me as the wife said that they were following us and she gave me a hug.
We sort of redid the whole day Tuesday as we had lunch at Swing Bar again. We started to try the original picnic table in the water restaurant that Dima wanted to try but it was very crowded and you had to order at the bar and then go out to one of the tables in the water. Also, it was very crowded. We switched to Swing Bar and had a very nice lunch again. I had loved the shrimp tacos so had those again. Dima opted for a mixed nachos plate.

For dinner, we returned to Elvi’s Kitchen as we had a good meal there on Thursday night. I tried the Arroz con Mariscos – their take on Paella. It was very good. Also, I had my last island drink.

All in all, it was a nice and relaxing last day for this trip. I have enjoyed Belize a great deal. It has been a fun trip.
