I had to do two loads of laundry. Did the usual essentials and then washed other things that needed cleaning. I had some wool clothes so those had to be done with the wool cycle. This took an hour and half. The essentials are done on a different cycle that is quicker but it still took about 2.5 hours to run the washing machine for the two loads.

Then I had to figure out how to dry all the clothes so towels on the bed worked for the pants and other things that had to be dried flat. Shirts are hung on hangers to dry.

Once that was done, I cleaned the apartment. I am getting very efficient at cleaning the apartment. It is smaller sized and basically clutter free so it easy to clean.

After all that activity, I read for the rest of the day. I was engrossed in a murder mystery that takes place in the Hebrides and could not put it down. The characters are interesting. The setting is definitely interesting and the plot kept me riveted. The author is Keith Moray. He has a series of 8 books and I have read two so far. I liked the second one slightly better than the first but both were very good and kept the attention. They are not great literature but definitely, I wanted to see how they ended. Deathly Wind was the one I finished yesterday.

I fixed dinner but it was just trout and vegetables. It was good but simple.

Short post for today. I will be back to more activity tomorrow as there is the farmers market, lunch out and running. It is supposed to be rainy in the evening so the run should be interesting.
