Last day of this part of the next chapter

I spend the day wandering part of Toulouse that I had not seen before. I like the city very much and can see me trying to make a go of living here for a period of time. I worry about making connections but that is the challenge and I will figure out how to do it. The start will be running groups here in Toulouse. It is a very active city and every time I wandered, I would see runners.

Here are some of the sights that I saw a on my wanders today.

I had my ideal breakfast (petit dejuener) chocolat chaud (hot chocolate) and choclatine (pain au chocolat – chocolate croissant). Wandered around an had a glass of rose in St. Crypien. Then wandered some more and and visit the Basicila Saint Serryin which was magnificent.

Had a final dinner at a local bistro – for Tom and Liam, it got good reviews. I had a fantastic final meal and the proprietor offered me an aperitif on the house.

All in all this has been a great trip. It was fun and exceptional traveling with Liam and Tom. They added a great deal to the first part of the trip and I am eternally grateful that they wanted to visit the Baltic states. Somewhere I have always wanted to visit but not sure I would have without their buy in. I am glad that I have seen them as they are fantastic! Tom, thank you for going to Gdansk with me. It was a revelation but in such a good way.

Toulouse has been an eye opener in what I need to do to make my next chapter a reality. I have learned a great deal of what I need to do and what I need to improve. The next chapter will be challenging but I am determined to make it work!
