Typical Toulouse Weekend Day

I had mentioned the Wine Festival to Nancy and Mike and we agreed to meet at 1;00 pm at the festival.

We spent the afternoon tasting wine, learning a little bit about wine and eating charcuterie. The weather was beautiful so it was a fun day just to hang out and enjoy the festival.

We talked to one of the wine makers who is originally from England and ended up in Fronton making wine. He was very engaging and interesting to talk to. I asked him if he knew the American couple that I met at Le Salon de Vins last year. He did not but said there were two Irish women who were vintners in Fronton. It seems Fronton is a very eclectic group of wine makers.

After the day drinking and enjoying the day, I went back to the apartment and read for a couple of hours. Again, one of the things that I enjoy in life.

For dinner, I went to Le Petit Marais. It is one of my regular restaurants in Toulouse. I love their Fois Gras and have it almost every time I have dinner there. It is fun to chat with Gabriel as well. It is one of those comfortable experiences.

After dinner, just headed home and read some more and then went to bed. I think I am still recovering for the exciting but hectic week with Jesse and Jen.

Short post but just another good day in Toulouse.
