Usual Saturday – for Toulouse

It was a usual Saturday for Toulouse. I went walking and ran into people ballroom dancing on the Esplanade by the Abattoirs and then skateboarders doing tricks at the Port du Daurade. It is one of the things that I enjoy about Toulouse, you never know what is going on and what you will see when you are out and about.

I saw most of this when I was walking over to Cacaofages, a very unique and interesting chocolate shop to have my favorite hot chocolate. The cafe and store is decorated with statutes and art all made out of chocolate.

I tried to take pictures that showed the difference between the two-dimensional and three-dimensional but I think when you take a picture even if you are not at the exact spot that they suggest, the pictures become dimensional. The first picture is form an angle and the second is form the suggested spot. You can see how the second picture becomes more alive.

I had dinner at Le Petit Marais, which is very traditional French rather than the more upscale than Terra Tolosa and Le Panache. I had French Onion soup which was very good.
