Not every day is exciting but all are fun

I did my usual walking around the city today. I was really interested in the three dimensional mural celebrating the Côte de Midi. It fascinated me that when looked at standing near them they were flat and showed the picture but when you stood where directed and took a picture, they came alive and became 3-D. Here is another example.

I will have to take a picture of them flat and show how they compare. That can be one of my tasks for tomorrow.

After the walk, I hit the Monoprix (grocery store) as I needed some dish washing liquid so I could continue to cook at home and clean dishes. I, also, bought some storage containers. The butter I had bought just came wrapped loosely in paper so I felt I needed something to store the butter in. Also, found a storage container especially designed for cheese. I feel funny buying these things for an Airbnb but since it is home for the next two plus months, I feel it is ok to add things that improve my daily life and make it more enjoyable.

The weather has returned to being pleasant and nice. The days are warm and the nights are cool but not cold. I think the weather is supposed to improve all week so that is good.

I had dinner at Le Panache as is my usual activity. It is always fun. The restaurant was very busy (which is good) so I did not get to chat as much with Enzo and Erwin as usual.

Enzo did show me he was signed up for the half marathon. When I first got here, Enzo suggested that we both sign up for the half marathon since we both run. I had signed up a week earlier. It is fun as we compare our runs when we meet. It really is somewhat like home for me there.

The picture for the post is from the gardens where the Japanese garden is located.
