I have booked my flight and Airbnb for my return to Toulouse in the fall. It always feels speculative until I actually have the reservations.

I am staying at the same apartment on the last trip so that makes things easy and nice. I know where everything is and like the location. It will be like coming home again.

I am really beginning to truly live the half/half life. Half my time in Toulouse and half my time in Alexandria. For me that is the best of both worlds, I get to spend time with my friends here in Alexandria and get to do the familiar things here and at the same time I get to spend time in Toulouse and the lifestyle that I really enjoy.

I feel very privileged to be able to live this life. I know it is not something everyone can do or even wants to do. I love the French lifestyle so it is fun to live it but have the security of being in Alexandria and keeping my life here as well.

I am still adjusting to being back in Alexandria. It is great to see friends but I had a very simple life in Toulouse and Alexandria is much more complicated.

Just happy I can go back to Toulouse!
