I had a good but sad day in Toulouse.

I finished up my gift buying for friends. I bought chocolate from two of Chocolatiers as I wanted it to be fresh when I gave it to my friends. I bought one box at a chocolatier that I know is local and the other is at one of the larger chocolatiers (Pillons) which has multiple shops in Toulouse. The local one, La Compangie du Chocolat actually had the workshop in the store.

After the gift shopping, I went to Le Panache and had lunch as my final meal in Toulouse. I got to talk to most of the guys there and they all wished me good luck and were looking forward to seeing me when I return to Toulouse. Lunch was as good as the dinners.

I finished packing and cleaning up the Airbnb in the afternoon. It was very bittersweet as I was glad to be thinking about seeing friends in Alexandria but had gotten quite comfortable and enjoyed the apartment in Toulouse and my life in the city.

I did my last run with Run in Toulouse in the evening. Lucas who plays music while we run knew I was leaving and asked which songs I would like to hear. I told him it was his choice and he played some upbeat lively French songs. It was again sad to think of not running with the group for a while but it was a great run.

After the run, Elliott and I went to Le Reserve for drinks. It was the first time that we had done something outside the run. We had a great discussion of life and where we both wanted to be in the future. Major age difference so our goals are different but we both like to travel and find adventures so it was a great evening. Elliott has been my savior during the runs as he speaks English very well and was willing to run with me.

Now it is the return to Alexandria.
