I am trying to do some of the things that I like as the trip comes to an end. I walked to the St. Cyprien market and brought fresh fruit for my lunches. I had an Aperol spritz at Le Reserve. Just enjoyed the city and its daily life.

We have had a tremendous amount of rain of late. Monday was the only day that it rained during the day, the rest has been at night. It has made the river very exciting. The river is usually a deep green color but because of the rain it is brown and muddy and running fast.

There is a man-made ford area of the river from the 1800s which acts like a waterfall. The last couple of days it is has been spectacular to watch. I had been monitoring a soccer ball that had been caught in the falls for a couple of day but the latest rain pushed it out.
