I do not have much to report today as it was just another typical day in Toulouse. It was beautiful so I went for a long walk. Then had an Aperol spritz at Le Reserve and dinner at Le Panache.

During the walk, I realized that Toulouse is under a major renovation campaign. I had noticed it before but I guess my route brought me past multiple city beautification sites. They are building/replacing lots of esplanade areas in the city with new pavers and trees. There is a major renovation of what is a large garden and sports area along the river. They are also building a new metro line and that is causing a great deal of construction around the city. They are renovating and adding onto the largest musuem in the city. All of this constructions looks like it is going to add nice areas and beauty to the city but for the residence, I am sure it causes some problems.

At Le Panache, they had two very large parties – one of 9 and one of 14. The party of 14 was an issue for the restaurant as it was young people and they were not ordering much at all. Diego kept telling me how little they were ordering and how bad it was for the business that night. I have now become the confidante that he can complain to about the diners in the restaurant. It is pretty funny!
