It rained and was blustery today so I just stayed in. I read, I watched TV (binged on Netflix’s The Diplomat) and cooked dinner.

I felt guilty most of the day with my laziness but then I realized if I was in Alexandria I would most likely have done the same thing. Something about being in Toulouse makes me feel like I need to go out and do something – explore, go to a cafe, or sight see. I guess part of that is that my time in Toulouse (at least this trip) is limited and I feel that I should make the most of it.

The incongruity of it is that this is supposed to be living here as “real” life and in my real life previously I did not go out and do something new everyday. There were many days when I would just stay home, read, watch TV and cook dinner. I guess I just have not adjusted totally to Toulouse as being “real” life.

Tomorrow it will be back to activities. The Toulouse Marathon is being held tomorrow so I will go watch that, I will shop at the farmers’ market and go to church. I will go for my fun. So back to normal.
