Today was just a regular day as many of the days are going to be. I did some grocery shopping to get some bread to make lunch sandwiches for lunch. I did find a boulangerie that sold half baguettes which as good as I had been buying larger baguettes and could not always finish them before they got hard. It was called a dejeunette.
The rest of the day, I read and just enjoyed some down time. It is what I would do in Alexandria so I thought it was realistic to do it here in Toulouse. I do not need to go out in search of something new every day.
I fixed dinner that night which was nice. It was not a French dinner, I made pasta with tomatoes, mushrooms, garlic and basil. The nice thing about the dinner was all the produce used was from the produce markets so it should all be fresh and I am hoping true farm to table.

Not sure why I cannot make the picture horizontal but will figure it out in the future.
The only issue with cooking in the Airbnb is that you do not have all the items that you would have in your own kitchen. I do not want to buy too much as I am only here for two months but I do want to add some things so cooking is more varied.
Other activity was finalizing my trip to England to visit my friends who live there. I will be heading up to England on October 22nd and will take the TVG and Eurostar Chunnel train. That should allow me to see France between Toulouse and Paris and then experience the Chunnel. It should be fun to see my friends.
